Intro

Intro

The platform initially existed as a mobile-only product with no responsive support for web users. My mission was to rethink the product from the ground up and design a unified, seamless experience across both mobile and desktop devices.

Working closely with the project manager and developers, I aligned every design decision with the product’s vision and roadmap. From kickoff to handoff, I led the design execution across all user-facing touchpoints.

Fast forward 14 months joined the team the platform grow rapidly. All Access Fans recorded ₦1.8 billion in revenue in its first year, with 13,140 creators, over 112,000 users, and ₦25.5 million earned through referrals.

Approach

All Access Fans wasn’t just a product - it was a bold mission: to help African creators turn passion into income. But the old platform didn’t support that mission well. It lacked responsiveness, had poor usability, and didn’t scale well across devices.

We set out to solve that - not just with a fresh UI, but with a user-first, accessible product that could meet creators and fans wherever they were.

My approach involved diving deeply into user needs and aligning them with All Access Fans’ brand goals. I aimed to build an accessible, user-friendly platform that delivers a consistent experience across all screen sizes.

Impact & Reflection

This project taught me the real value of building for people - not just users. Staying close to creator and fan feedback was what allowed us to iterate in ways that made a lasting impact.

Prioritizing a mobile-first approach helped ensure consistency across devices, while embracing simplicity led to better retention and fewer usability issues. Most importantly, working in lockstep with engineers and product leadership helped us move fast without compromising quality.
